TAMAさん再びと極楽
DJ TAMAさんがTO-RU君のバックアップのもと、バンコクに再登場!! 18日の水曜日には、Sripoom Espresso BarでWelcome Partyをして、かなりの酔っ払いをTAMAさんに見せてしまい、『MASAは、こっち側の人間だったんだね。』とTAMAさんに言われた一言が、印象的でした。 笑) DJ陣もGOROちゃん、HIROO君、TO-RU君、TEPPI君と自分で、かなり面白かったです。 そしてその週の土曜日に、 TAMAさんのPLAYは１時間位しか見れませんでしたが、Q BARでも盛り上げていて、BANGKOK PEOPLEの心をガッチリ掴んだのではないでしょうか。 同じ道産子ということもあって、勇気をもらった気がします。 是非BANGKOKにて、また会いたいです!! そして、来月の４月は、極楽強化月間ということで、初の月２回開催!!
１０日(土曜日)は、MAFTSAIからの紹介で、UKからalex untitleを迎えての極楽!!
一体どんなPLAYを見せてくれるのか、期待大です!!

With residences at the Strongrooms bar in Shoreditch East London. As well as the Redchurch bar and the Verge bar in Brick Lane East London where a mixture of Northern Soul and Funk was played with a few oddities thrown in for good measure. Alex is rapidly establishing himself as one of the most exciting producers on the planet, which started as re edits to add to his live sets but soon progressed to self-composed productions. These tracks have been played on various radio shows across the globe, such as Michael Ruetten’s Soulsearching show (Compost records). A limited number of hand printed vinyls were released in 2008 with a mixture of re-edits and songs on that sold all over the world.
Music from funk and soul through to latin, afro and way beyond is his speciality, expect to be taken on a musical journey where vinyl from all corners of the globe is played…

そして２４日(土曜日)は、KOICHIさん(SURFACE)からの紹介で出会い、GLOWでのイベント『夜光虫』から久々の再会、SayakaStarを迎えての極楽!! 今回はDJ S.A.Lは、時間がとれずこれないとの事で残念ですが、現在はスペインにて活動している彼らのPOWERとVIBESが音と一緒に感じれることでしょう。
SayakaStar
has been a part of the Tokyo music club scene since 1994. She started out as a Techno-Pop and New Wave DJ working at the lively and exciting clubs and parties happening in Japan, including those that were still underground at that time. She grew and developed her musical skills getting her inspiration and muse from the excitement of Tokyo’s clubs and the creativity brewing underneath in the smaller avant-garde venues. SayakaStar joined a band called “Texas 2000” in 1999. The band plays mad electronica music using only T.I. machines (Texas Instruments) such as “Speak and Spell” and so on.without a sequencer and no TB-303. In 2004 while she was traveling around the world performing and DJ’ing her grandfather, who was an astronomer, died. In the Australian bush she looked up into the brilliant, starry night sky and felt moved and inspired by the loss of her grandfather who loved the stars. She sensed that he wanted to say to her, “Keep moving with music! Follow the Light!” So that day she named herself “SayakaStar”. Since then she has organized and performed at both indoor and outdoor events with success all over Japan, Australia, and Germany. Fusion Festival2009(Germany),Exodus Festival2006(Australia) Expo 2005(Japan),Park bridge(Thai) Currently SayakaStar is based in Berlin, the capital of Techno, working as a very active DJ all over this planet. She plays rainbow, multicolored music with good vibrations chock full of deep TechHouse beat sets and also freestyle chill-out sets. 突然だけど、最近STATE TOWERでのDJを解雇された。理由のひとつに『アジア人のDJは、この先 雇わない。』とインド人マネージャーに言われ、別にいいけど、ビザを自分でまた取りに行かなくては、ということでカンボジアの国境で、１泊2日のビザ取りツアーに行って来た。 そこで久しぶりに会った友達とカジノや卓球などで時間をつぶした。 良いことも悪いことも、とりあえず動いていれば色々起こると言うことで、今回のツアーも悪いことばかりではなかった。 中学校の時に卓球部に所属していた僕は、最近 無性に卓球がしたかったのですが、このツアーに参加していた男性の方が、タイで６年間も卓球をしていた方で、誘われました。 嬉しい～ HOTELでの大会もあるらしく、優勝するとディナーチケットがもらえるらしいです、大会レポはいずれまた。
今夜は１時間だけですがDEMOでDJをします。 フライヤーやコンセプト、全くミーティングもないまま、当日を迎えたこのイベント、オーガナイザーは何を考えているんでしょう？？ エントランス無料なので、気軽に遊びに来てください！！

最近NATの部屋でDHBのMIXを録りました。 いきなりスピーカー用のアンプがおちて、音が聴こえない状態になったりしました、音量の調節が必要ですが、でけました。 NATありがとう。 なんとなく聴いてやってください♪

EARTH BEAT モーフの旅
先週の木曜日は、EARTH BEATをSRIPOOMで行い、OPPとGNTをゲストに招いて、本当に楽しい夜になりました。 カメラを持って行きましたが、まともな写真が取れなかったので、その晩の象徴的なお酒をUPしてみました。 カオサンのあの雰囲気の中、音楽を次々にながすDJと音と戯れて踊る人たち、外でまったりと話す人たち、そして新たな出会いに乾杯の嵐で、新たなEARTH BEATの旅立ちを感じました。 OPP・GNTに感謝、感謝です!! 是非 また遊びに来てください!!
そして、その週の土曜日は、モーフの旅 OPP、GORO、GNT、DYPONE ＆ひろしマンのサウンドシステム＠23BARって事で行って来ました。
ここでもまともな写真が撮れず、この晩の象徴的なお酒、ビールの写真をUPしました。 ひろしマンの驕りという事で、ここぞとばかりに飲んでしまいました。 ありがと～!! LIVE＆DJ 楽しみました～ あと３時間ぐらい続くと、昇天しそうでしたね。 その後の、ステーキも美味しかった。
そして、今週の金曜日はSURFACE Presents CONNECTED VOL.2、DYPONEをメインDJにSOUND DONUT の２人が両脇を固める形で盛り上げます。 是非是非 遊びましょう～!!

His DJing experience started from Old school Hip-Hop and Dance Classic in Japan.
After moving to L.A ,he gained his more experience while going to the underground CLUBS and feeling local genuine air.
And, he starts up activity again as DJ through the blank of several years, and is doing the DISCO,HOUSE,JAZZ event named SOUND DONUT now.

He found his passion for dance music during his stay in LA and Tokyo, major cities where quality of music is created and heard at all times and started his DJ career in 2006 at Breaks, the truly underground club for music lovers. DJ Goro has been rocking the dance floors of many clubs in Bangkok such as Glow, Twisted Republic, Park Bridge, Q BAR, Club Culture and Café Democ. His music style can be described as unique, soulful, and organic inspired by mainly dance classics, funk, disco, house, jazz and any other genres that touch his heart. He is currently a resident DJ at Q BAR for monthly party “EARTH BEAT” and organizes his own monthly party “Sound Donut” at Café Democ.
