The last time of Goku Raku
前回の極楽の写真をUPします～ 人数だけで言うと寂しい感じでしたが、久しぶりに会う人や初めてあった人、そして何よりDJ FREDRIK FUNKが『Q BARでは、選曲できないような曲を、大きな音でかけれて楽しかった!!』と言ってくれたので、良かったです。 来月の極楽はPARADISE BANGKOKが絶好調のMAFTSAI(ZUDRABGMA RECORDS)を迎えての極楽です!! 是非 次回もお楽しみに～
お金持ちと、はやとちり
最近は健康の為に、泳いでいます。 場所はトンローにあるホテル、グランドタワーインです。 ここは、サウナやトレーニングルームも付いていて、なかなかいいです。 ここでよく会う、白人の女の人がいて、勝手にライバルにして泳いでいます。 僕よりも10歳以上は年上な感じですが、僕より5倍は泳ぎます。
いつかは勝つつもりです。 泳ぎ終わって、プールの周りにある木の間から見える、ビルの上にある看板に目がとまりました。 コンドミニアムのルーフトップに温泉？って広告を見て思いました。 この世界には、不況とは関係なくお金持ちが増えてるんじゃないかと思ってしまいました。 少し分けておくれ～
STATE TOWER HOTELのDJの件ですが、はやとちりで実は今は第２次オーディション中とのこと、はじめから言ってくれよ!! と思いましたが、気をとりなおして、今週の水曜日と木曜日のSTATE TOWER HOTELのPLAYに集中します。

今夜は極楽～♪
今回で4回目となります『極楽』ですが、ゲストDJにQ BARとLONG TABLEのレジデントDJをつとめるDJ FREDRIK FUNKを迎えます。いつか彼がDJをしている毎週月曜日のQ BARで、彼の選曲を聞きながら『お～極楽に呼びたい!!』と単純に思い、今回彼に頼みました。とても気さくで独特な笑い方をする彼は、公私でも楽しく付き合っています。JAZZでも特にACID JAZZの知識が豊富な彼は、僕にとってもいい刺激になっています。
僕はレゲエがかかったりする前半の時間帯が、かなり極楽タイムだと思っています。是非是非遊びに来てください!! 今回から、自分自身でフライヤーのデザインを作っていますが、かなりはまっています。どうでしょ～
今後このお店の2階はギャラリーになるので、このイベントで絵を飾りたい、自分で紹介したいものがあるとの依頼を受け付けています!! 是非是非僕の方まで連絡をください!!
場所はカオサン通りを警察署側に出て行くと、向かい側にお寺があって、お寺側に渡り、警察署を背にすると右側に2分ぐらい歩くとありますので、もし迷った際はお店に電話をください!!『マサ』とだけ言えば、僕が電話に出る仕組みになっていますので、安心です。

DJ FREDRIK FUNK
Backround: Freddy has been interested in music since an early age. As early as age nine he was designing his own audiophonic sound systems and listening to music which his peers weren’t interested in. When Freddy turned twelve he entered the school DJ club and played the school dances and later started to grow an appreciation for Acid Jazz. Shortly after he would recieve musical guidance from his father a knowledgable man about technique and style in any instrument and genre of jazz being a former resident lead singer as a teenager in a Swedish eleven piece big band himself, some other members whom continued to have recieved worldwide acclaim. All this knowledge has been instilled deeply into Freddy starting with Coltrane at 14 and then graduating to Parker at 16 and then entering into a long big band faze favorites being Ellingtons early works from the 20’s and 30’s. Even though Freddy is able to play the highest quality of rare and important dance music of the 20 and 21st century he always identifies the audiences learning curve, working with what he’s got. Here we can lift standards step by step dropping jazz here and there, but once in a blue moon when the audience has the sophistication and everything is splendid Freddy can play solely jazz on the dancefloor and the audience go wild and are extremely impressed when this is possible it’s not uncommon to have to have someone comment to Freddy that they have been around the world and the best music they have ever heard in a club has been right here in Bangkok during one of Freddy Funk’s unique Dj sets.

DJ mAsa (New Logic)
In 2006, DJ mAsa kicked off his DJ career at Breaks- underground club
specially dedicated to the crazed out clubbers in Bangkok, Thailand.
While actively performing in Toyko(module module-tokyo.com/ AMATE-RAXI ( www.amrax.jp/index.htmll) , he has been spinning at various
clubs in the City of Angels- Bed Supper Club,Twisted Republic, Club Culture, Q BAR,Glow,State Tower and
Park Bridge to name a few.
Along with Club performances, the music guru is renowned for moving
the dance floors with his ability to study the crowds at countless
private to social events in Bangkok like grand wedding parties,
birthday bashes, brand launches to major galas.
He is currently one of the top resident DJs Earth Beat at Q bar Bangkok and also host DJ for UB Radio’s monthly
program “My Kingdom.”
An all rounder, DJ Masa manages and promotes his own chill-out party,
Gokuraku (Super Relax) at Sripoom Espresso Bar.

今回の写真は先週土曜日に行った、これまたGOROちゃんとTEPPI君のイベント『SOUND DONUT』であります。 風邪をおしていったため、頭がぼーっとしてたのと、鼻水さんが大変でした。 でも、ビールはかかさず飲みました。
明日はこれまたGOROちゃんとのEARTH BEAT。 こちらは、無料エントリープロモーション中なので、是非是非 一杯ひっかけに来てください。
